Challenging myself

So here we go. This summer i spent most if my time infront of a tv on a couch. I ate only when Randy was home to eat and even tho i loved being able to swim i stopped after my hair decided that is was going to die and have to be chopped up to my ears. For those of you that do not know i take pride in having somewhat long beautiful hair and well i felt like that was the prettiest part of me.

so suddenly i did not feel like going out any more. Well then about 2 weeks ago i went to the Dr. Due to some changes in my health like feeling tired and well i will be blunt no peirod and yet no pregnancy. ( by the way they gave me meds and now i am just waiting dor harmones to level out again) And when they put me on a scale my eyes nearly popped out. I was 20 pounds from being the wieght I used to say " Well at least i am no where near ___ pounds" Its time for me to do something about it! I cant afford those fancy things people are selling all over Facebook so i guess its time for me to come up with sometging my self, like just getting up qnd moving. It is my favorite time of the year so this is it. First thing i have started doing is at least 30 min of Wii fit on the tv. You see I can be awful lazy so i get to come up with a lazy proof plan. After some research here is what i have come up with that may be just the ticket to a healthier me .
1. Take one step at a time dont try to change every thing at once.
2. Wii fit has these wonderfull exercising games you can do as you watch your favorite halloween movies!!
3. Make it fun.
4. Make it like you are treating your self not depriving your self. I like alot of healthy snacks so when i have been going shopping i find a healthly snack that i love so its like a treat in its self and i get excited about it.
4. Get your family involved!
5. Get up more. Just move more.
6. Wake up earlier so that you feel more refeshed and there is more time in thr day for you to move.
6. Eat many small meals durung the day dont let your self get super hungery that way you dont stuff your self when you do eat.
7. Document it! Share your challenge make it known. One you will have others supporting you, two there is abit of presure in keeping it up when you post it.
8. Most important!! Feed your soul uplifting and loving things for example i found I poem i wrote for my self after my son was born that i will share at the end of this post.

So those are my tips that i feel will work for me!

So here I am

I love that my little man got in on the pic taking!

My body
By Bellah
My feet are rough and scared for they have kissed the earth.
My tummy is slightly saggy and looks like a watermelon for it has held an angel.
My hands are scared and dry for they have brought blessings to others.
My hips are wide for they are made to hold a child as I work.
My butt is large for it is made to sit long hours in meditation with out the pain of sitting on my tail bone.
I have small bags under my eyes for I am blessed that my baby lives and grows healthy.
My hair is a mess for I spent the morning snuggling with my son.
My nails are bit for I worried over some one I loved.
My body may be sore , out of shape ( what ever that may mean) scared, but that is the beauty of it, for I have lived!

I love my body
I love all that it gives to me
I love my good health
I love the reminders each marking my body gives me
I love being me
