Did you know if you go on Etsy or any other online place looking for a nice wreath its like $75 or more up pass $100 for a wreath! I infact have played with the idea of starting my own wreath making and selling them for like $25 I know I could make some amazing ones from up-cycled thrift store stuff! I am not sure if any one would buy them but I loved making the one we made tonight and could see it being a hobby I could get into. Searching the Thrift stores and clearance Racks for wreath making stuff. I know for me I would love to have a wreath for every season and holiday. Now this is not a sales pitch haha this is me saying how I loved doing this wreath and perhaps in the future I will be selling them on m dream online store.
So tonight me and my love Randy were working on a few things in our fall bucket list,Open all the windows for the day, Check, Make a wreath, Check, and have a cup of a hot fall drink, going to do tonight.
We asked my dad to search the DI for some old wreaths and Randy and I tore them apart to create are new Wreath. The Pine cone in the center is one that we gathered and today we cleaned them. To clean them place them in the oven at 220 for like an hour this melts the sap and makes it harden so it is no longer a sticky mess, also this kills any bugs living in there and also makes the house smell amazing!
So today's "Craft This" does not tell you word for word because I do not feel like wreath making is something that you can tell some one exactly how to do it. I post this as inspiration!
I am also excited to say that my Dad picked me up another wreath base for another wreath! I see a Christmas wreath in store!
