Gratidute Month #4

Tonight I am writing on how Grateful I am to be a mom, and I am most grateful to the little boy that made me a mom,I am also grateful for the other half of Malaki's Gene pool even if they are not part of his life at this time. I am grateful for that marriage because it was the one thing that stopped me from running off on my own and living a single life. yes at the time I was ready to settle down and have a family but I was also on the edge ready to jump into the life of a free bird after loosing Mario. That marriage taught me many things but also gave me the greatest gift in the world my Malaki.
The moment I first found out I was pregnant my whole self began to change, not only did I lose my size 10 waist and the normal changes but suddenly I was thinking as a mom. I was never going to be alone again, well at least for the next 18 years or more. Suddenly how my husband treated me did not just effect me, it effected everything, for the little one I carried was my every thing. So long I had looked for true love and suddenly I had found it in my little boy. A mothers love has no words but every word could fit in the definition I want to love and care for him, teach him what is good in this world and what does not work. Show him all the beauty there is in the world and teach him to love and be loved.  To me be being a mother is one of the greatest things ever and I am so ever grateful!
